My experience with AlyCat was excellent. Jenn did the hair for six of us for my wedding and everyone looked phenomenal. It was very easy to communicate with her about my vision and she did not disappoint. Jenn is a true artist, she’s professional, and fun which made everyone comfortable. I would highly recommend AlyCat to everyone I know.

My bridesmaids and I had a wonderful experience with Alycat Hair and Makeup - specifically Alice and Thyda. Both ladies were professional and fun and enhanced our hair/makeup bridesmaid-bonding experience. They worked around our silly moments and Alice even managed to fix and touch up my makeup after I got emotional. Thyda was great in accommodating my bridesmaids hair requests and Alice made all of us look absolutely stunning!! Both ladies were a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend!! Thank you ❤️❤️

Professional stylists; Great for on-site services for larger groupsFinding on-site hair and makeup services for my June 2019 wedding in Grand Bend, ON for myself, 6 bridesmaids and 2 mothers, was the most challenging vendor selection of my wedding planning process. I don't wear much makeup, spend no time on my hair, and had no idea how to plan for this aspect of the day. After looking at many vendors, I chose AlyCat. Their large team of professionals was able to accommodate our group and travel to our location. The trial was very helpful in getting my minimalist, clean and simple look right. On the big day, they were very professional, arriving on time, bringing all their own equipment and quickly working through our group. I would have liked them to take a bit more leadership - assigning the order of the girls, clearly communicating timelines, etc. - but it all worked out. My only regret was that after spending so much time getting my look just right during the trial I didn't pay much attention on the day of, and found my hair was actually a bit different than the trial. By the time I noticed, it was too late. These professionals do so much hair and make-up you really have to take ownership of your look and provide clear directions, ideally in a picture, if you have a specific style in mind. A good reminder to any future brides out there! Nevertheless, I was very satisfied with AlyCat's work overall and, although I had my own distractions/stresses, they made my girls and our mom's look like super stars, which is what really matters.[Photo credit: Raw Footage Photography]

We used Alycat Makeup & Hair Artistry for my engagement photos as well as for our wedding day.Last March, my sister and I did a hair and makeup trial with Alice and Thyda and I was impressed by their professionalism and their friendly demeanours. They did a fantastic job and listened to what your vision was.Thyda and Alice did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and once again did a great job!Finally, Alice and Thyda as well as two additional AlyCat girls did hair and makeup for my wedding day for myself, 6 bridesmaids, mother of the groom, mother of the bride, and my mother’s two cousins.They arrived on time bright and early and completed everyone in a timely manner.Everyone looked fantastic and their hair and makeup held up extremely well all day!Would highly recommend their services!

Everything about AlyCat is fantastic! I got married last weekend and AlyCat came to the hotel for hair and make up for myself, my bridal party, and my mom. Jenn did my hair and Kayla did my make up. I cannot say how amazing the entire experience was. Right from the planning stages, they were professional and very responsive. We showed the team some ideas we had from photos online and they exceeded our expectations. I loved how natural and elegant my hair looked. My make up was perfect too! I especially loved how I didn't have to worry about adjusting my hair or retouching my make up as the day went on. The morning of the wedding is typically a stressful time but the AlyCat team was early, made us feel relaxed, and had fun! It honestly felt like we had known them for years! <3 Thank you, ladies!!

Alice and Jenn, and the rest of their team, were amazing to work with. They did all the hair and makeup for my bridal party on January 5th, and everyone looked stunning! They gave the girls and myself exactly what we wanted and were so professional. The hair and makeup lasted for the entire wedding night, even when taking photos in the snowy weather! I cannot speak more highly of this team of artists!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! They are everything you would expect a top notch professional to be: punctual (early, in fact), knowledgable, patient with questions, skilled. But they are so much more! The are kind, friendly and personable. Having them do hair and makeup for a myself, 14yo, 13yo, and 9yo, is no easy feat (never mind the crying baby running in and out of the room!), but they pulled it off like it was no biggie! They were so lovely with the girls and made everyone, including a make-up novice like myself, feel incredibly relaxed and comfortable. I wasn't sure what to suggest for up-do's for the girls but Jennifer spoke with the girls, got a sense of what they liked, and instantly went to work creating such beautiful and individual hairstyles for them. Alice did such a stunning job with the makeup, making the girls look glamorous but age-appropriate. I was so pleased with my own hair and makeup and received so many compliments that night. They worked so efficiently that we were done on time and all in the comfort and ease of our own home. The only problem I have is now coming up with more reasons to have them return! Thank you ladies- you were amazing!!!

Alycat makeup was one of the best decisions I could have made in planning my wedding. They showed up at our hotel ready to go and did hair and makeup for me, my mom, sister, and three bridesmaids. Everyone was happy with their hair and makeup and we had a great time hanging out with Jen and Alice. Our hair and makeup looked great all day. They timed everything perfectly, they were laid back, and truly knew how to handle a hotel suite full of people on a very chaotic morning. Thanks ladies!!!

If I could give 10/10 stars I would. This one goes out to my dream team! I had the pleasure of working with this outstanding group of women for my wedding last Saturday. From the day I booked to the day I said "I Do" these ladies were a dream to work with. They made my entire bridal party look absolutely gorgeous and were so fun during our morning shenanigans! I literally felt like the most beautiful version of myself that day and the attention to detail was incredible, even late into the night I still looked flawless! I am super picky with my hair and Thyda did an amazing job on not only me but my five bridesmaids! It was better than I even imagined. Keeping in mind too my hair is frizzy and sometimes difficult to style so the fact she did such an amazing job on me says volumes!! Definitely recommend.

They were awesome for my wedding. We didn't do trials as I was from out of province and I just showed them images and they were off doing their thing. I loved the fact that they dressed nicely. They knew they would most likely be in wedding photos and dressed appropriately. Would recommend again and again
